1998 - 2019: The Marching Band has been a State finalist every single year, finishing in the trophy range (top 4) 14 times.
2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014: Bands of America Grand National Semi-Finalist (top 30 nationally) (2009 was first season attending)
2013: Performed by invitation at the halftime show with Tony Lucca at Ford Field during the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Day football game, broadcast live nationwide
2003, 2008, 2011: Marched by invitation in the Detroit America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
2013, 2016: Bands of America Regional Class Champion (AAA)
2013: Bands of America Regional overall Runner-Up
2009, 2010, 2012, 2013: Bands of America Regional Finalist
2013: Received Special Tribute from the State of Michigan
2009 - 2016: 17 members of our band have performed as members of the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band in San Antonio, Texas.
2013: Three members of our band were selected to be members of the BOA Honor Band and march in the 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade.
2015: Selected from over 175 marching bands across the country to participate in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City

2009 - 2016: Walled Lake Percussion was a World Class Finalist (top 15 in the country) at the WGI world Championships

2007: Guinness World Record Holders for the World’s Longest Continuous Group Drum Roll: 24Hr 23Sec (since broken)

2006: WGI A Class National and World Champions
2008, 2017: The Wind Symphony was a featured performer at the Michigan Music Conference (akin to a state championship).
2009: The Wind Symphony was a featured performer at the Western Michigan University Spring Conference on Wind and Percussion, an honor bestowed on only 2 bands per year.
1997 - 2019: The Wind Symphony has received a Division One rating at band festival every single year.
